In the lead-up to Episode 6, we referenced 1969’s The Stranger’s Gundown and 1973’s High Plains Drifter. Episode 14’s slow-burner [from 1990] may not have the same Gothic overtones or similar action icons, but it’s very much their haunted heir apparent.
